Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2025-09-09

This Cookie Policy explains how FanFabs (“FanFabs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, apps, and online services (the “Services”). For more information about how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

If you have questions, contact [email protected].

1) What are cookies and similar technologies?

  • Cookies are small files stored on your device to make the Services work and to improve your experience.
  • We also use local storage/session storage, and (where applicable) pixels or SDKs for similar purposes. We refer to all of these as “cookies.”

2) What we use cookies for

We use four broad categories of cookies:

  1. Strictly necessary – required for core functions like page navigation, security, login, and remembering your consent choices.
    • Legal basis (EEA/UK): legitimate interests and/or performance of a contract.
  2. Functional (preferences) – to remember your choices (e.g., language, region) and enhance features such as media players.
    • Legal basis (EEA/UK): your consent.
  3. Analytics (performance) – to understand how the Services are used, fix errors, and improve content and features.
    • Legal basis (EEA/UK): your consent.
  4. Advertising (personalization) – to measure and improve ads, build audiences, and limit frequency, including across sites/apps where applicable.
    • Legal basis (EEA/UK): your consent.

We do not set non-essential cookies (functional/analytics/advertising) in the EEA/UK until you grant consent.

3) How you give or withdraw consent

  • On your first visit, you’ll see a cookie banner with options to accept all, reject non-essential, or customize your choices.
  • You can change your choices any time via Cookie Settings.
  • If you withdraw consent, we’ll stop using the relevant cookie categories from that point forward.

Where required or supported, we treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of certain cookie-based targeting.

4) Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties (e.g., analytics, advertising, embedded media, payments). These providers process data under their own policies. When possible, we delay loading non-essential third-party cookies until you’ve consented.

5) Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Doing so may affect essential features (e.g., login, checkout, security). Instructions vary by browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).

6) Retention

  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies last longer and are set for a defined period.
We keep consent records as required by law to demonstrate compliance and don’t keep cookie-derived data longer than necessary for the purposes above.

7) International transfers

Data collected via cookies may be processed outside your country (including outside the UK/EEA). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

8) Children

Our Services are not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly use non-essential cookies to profile children.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to cookies we use or legal requirements. We will post updates here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
